When the diaphragm press is operating normally, the inlet pressure is 8 kg, the exhaust pressure is 26 kg, the oil pressure in the diaphragm head is 28 kg, and the pressure of the auxiliary oil pump is 4 kg. The problems occurring during operation at present are that the intake pressure is 8 kg, while the exhaust pressure can only reach 10 kg. The oil pressure on one side of the diaphragm head is unstable, requiring frequent refilling of oil; the maximum oil pressure that can be achieved on that side is 8 kg. The pressure of the auxiliary oil pump ranges from 3.5 to 4 kg. Upon inspection, all oil pipelines are unobstructed, all valves are in good condition, and the oil level is at the full range. Let’s analyze what the reasons are.
Is it because the return oil pressure isn’t set properly?

It seems that there’s a problem with the plunger pump, resulting in insufficient oil supply.
1. Check the make-up oil pump: hold the discharge tube of the make-up oil pump and see if you can feel a pulsation as the oil is supplied. If your check valve is functioning properly, it’s unlikely that there’s a problem with the make-up pump; 2. Check the pressure regulating valve and the manual return valve (the manual valve located below the oil pressure gauge) to ensure there are no oil leaks ; 3. Check the piston rings; this is the most likely possibility.
