Is there anyone who has data on the annual production volume of slurry in recent years, as well as the proportion of slurry that is discharged outside? I would be extremely grateful{:1_90:}
Full paraffin oil feed, yield of over 90%; the solid content in the slurry remains at 2.0 g/l on a long-term basis. The reaction temperature is controlled by adjusting the liquid level in the distillation tower, and there is no slurry that needs to be discarded. To prevent the slurry density from becoming too high, it is replenished once a month, accounting for about one-tenth of the total amount of slurry.

Yes, there’s no dumping; it’s just that to prevent the density of the slurry from becoming too high, a small amount of crude oil is intentionally added to the bottom of the tower to dilute it, with just a little being dumped.

It is generally mixed into the catalytic raw materials. The amount of slurry is too low. As mentioned earlier, the crude oil is of good quality, with basically no sludge.
Units that use raw materials of poor quality cannot afford to suffer damage; it seems that the process flow is a very interesting aspect to consider. The proportion of oil slurry that needs to be separated out depends not only on the ratio of raw material contaminants and the catalyst consumption, but also on the requirements of downstream units as well as the overall economic efficiency of the plant.
