How can low-temperature methanol washing be used to increase the H2S concentration in the H2S concentration tower? If control is achieved by adjusting the methanol circulation rate, what impact does this have on the distribution of cooling capacity within the system?

Re-circulate the fluid to continuously increase its concentration, raising the H2S concentration. By controlling the methanol circulation rate, the amount of the component absorbed by the methanol changes, and accordingly, the amount of cold energy released after separation also changes.

In our facility, due to the medium used, a flash tank was added in front of the heat regeneration tower during the initial design phase. Generally, the method of increasing the reflux at the tower top is employed; if the circulation volume is changed, the amount of CO2 removed also changes, and consequently the cooling capacity of the system changes as well.
