Discussion on dust prevention, gas prevention, and protection against dust and gases! ! !

There are different opinions regarding dust prevention, poison prevention, and protection against both dust and poisons. I have a question for everyone; feel free to participate in the discussion. 1. Dust masks go without saying, but what I want to ask is: can gas masks also serve to prevent dust from entering the lungs? 2. The concept of dust and poison protection only emerged in the past one or two years, but it has not been mentioned in any relevant laws, regulations, or standards (at least I haven’t seen it). I’m not sure whether this concept is correct; if it is, then has anyone come across masks that provide both dust and poison protection?
A gas mask should be able to protect against dust, and the filter cartridge has the function of filtering out smoke and dust

We have been exposed to certain chemicals (toxic, in powder form). When providing protective equipment for our employees, the main item is gas masks; when communicating with suppliers, it is also possible to obtain dust-proof equipment. Mask + gas filter box (with dust protection function)
We have dust-proof and gas-proof masks; activated carbon is used for gas protection while filter fabric is used for dust prevention. These two components can be combined or separated.
