In a three-stage piston engine, the temperature of the third-stage exhaust valve is higher than normal, and the exhaust pressure at the second stage is also high. What could be the cause? Is there a leak in the third-stage exhaust valve?

Remove the tertiary-stage intake and exhaust valves and test them using kerosene... If there are leaks, replace the necessary components: replace the valve springs, valve plates, or valve seats as needed. Poor sealing between the tertiary-stage exhaust valve seat and its housing causes air leakage, which in turn raises the temperature of the exhaust valve.
