The company plans to establish a slot tube team soon. As for the job responsibilities and main tasks of this team, I only have a general idea of them. Responsible for organizing the formulation of plans for major technical upgrades, equipment replacement, and adjustments to key process parameters ; 2. Responsible for the testing and promotion of new electrolysis processes, new equipment, and new materials ; 3. Responsible for organizing the resolution of complex technical issues that arise during the operation of the electrolytic cells ; 4. Responsible for the operational management of electrochemical cells and the training of technical personnel ; 5. Responsible for measurements and inspections during the operation of the electrolyzer cell ; 6. Responsible for the acceptance of spare parts for electrolytic cells and the formulation of maintenance plans, as well as overseeing the procedures and processes for maintaining these cells ; 7. Responsible for investigating major production and equipment accidents related to electrochemical cells ; 8. Responsible for the collection, organization, and preservation of technical documentation related to electrolytic cells ; 9. Responsible for the analysis and research of cell performance, and proposing improvement measures.

Well, it’s quite comprehensive, but doesn’t the Slot Tube have too much power? 4, 5, 8, 9 – that’s okay, but the Slot Tube can’t handle all the other elements as well. This is merely my personal opinion.

What matters is not the job responsibilities, but taking good care of the electrolyte cells. Job responsibilities are meant for outsiders to see. It’s actually useless. Unless you are a very large corporate group.
Electrolyzer management refers to the need to oversee everything that affects the operation of the electrolyzers, including the related departments. In other words, the authority related to electrolyzer management is equivalent to that of the plant manager.
High demands are placed on those responsible for cell management, requiring considerable practical experience as well as extensive theoretical knowledge.
To be a supervisor of the electrolysis section, one must be highly familiar with the production processes, process pipelines, each process control point, and the process control parameters in that section; moreover, it is necessary to be able to analyze and summarize the new problems that arise continuously during production.
There are a lot of electrical and instrumentation faults in our factory, which cause a lot of trouble; we don’t understand them and also can’t do anything about them. Sometimes it really just stops there, just sitting there. Like today, a cable terminal on one of the 35kv rectifiers failed, resulting in another shutdown. The electrolyzer can’t afford to get damaged! ! ! ! !
As the person in charge of cell management, I coordinate with relevant departments to carry out preventive maintenance during major overhauls, based on the operating conditions of electrical systems and instruments. If the person in charge of cell management does not have sufficient authority, then cell management is essentially ineffective; unless the person in charge of the branch plant has thorough knowledge of cells, the cells will not operate properly.
