Is it legal to directly introduce liquid ammonia into water in a storage tank to produce ammonia water? Is it safe? What are the potential hazards, and what safety measures need to be implemented? Are there any relevant current standards and specifications?
It involves heat release, but we don’t know what temperature will be reached. We have prepared ammonia solution before as well, with pipes connected to each other; I don’t remember there being a mixer, along with a water cooler and an ammonia storage tank.

The process of dissolving ammonia releases a large amount of heat; not to mention introducing liquid ammonia directly into water, even introducing gaseous ammonia directly is extremely dangerous. In mild cases, the ammonia solution will boil and splash out, while in severe cases it can cause the equipment and pipes to rupture or even explode. Under normal circumstances, water is not used to absorb ammonia directly to produce ammonia solution, as the amount of heat released is too great to control. Instead, dilute ammonia solution is used together with a high-position ammonia absorber to create the solution, which is then sent to cooling coils for temperature reduction. This process is repeated multiple times to gradually increase the concentration of the ammonia solution to the desired level
