Our factory uses German VEGA PLUS66 radar level gauges to measure the material level; from time to time, they display the maximum value or the displayed value remains unchanged. I’m not sure what’s causing this I hope someone who has encountered this situation or is familiar with it can provide an answer. . . Thank you. Look at the waveform and perform echo interference suppression.
Conditional emptying of the material level is possible: first, the echo clearance function is used (to remove previous echo corrections), and then echo correction is performed, with the reference point for correction being the lower limit of the range (the lowest point). If this phenomenon occurs again, it might be due to water droplets on your detection probe (or sensor surface). If there are indeed water droplets, consider using a level gauge with a blowing function.
