Apart from being used for initial gas replacement at startup, can the vent be used directly for discharge in case of a gas tank leak? I think there are security risks. How do everyone do it?
Another function of the relief valve is to prevent the valve on it from closing accidentally during shutdown for maintenance; if it is forgotten to be left open, this could lead to an increase in pressure and volume inside the cabinet. Gases cannot be safely released through the vent valve, which can easily lead to the gas tank overfilling. The piston mechanism is damaged, and the rubber diaphragm has ruptured. If safety is a concern, pipe flame arresters can be added.
How to relieve pressure once a leak is detected?
Taking a 20,000 cubic meter gas holder as an example: in the case of a leak in the vent valve, close that leaking vent valve and wait for maintenance to replace the vent sealing mechanism. The minimum requirement is to open a relief valve.
