I need help with the issue of sludge in the water coming out of the flotation process: the water exiting the flotation unit contains sludge, and since there is no sedimentation tank, this sludge-laden water goes directly into the UASB reactor; from there it exits again and enters the aerobic tank. Will there be any major impact?
There is definitely an impact; it may increase COD and total salts, as well as the amount of sludge.
