Are absolute pressure transmitters suitable for positive side pressure or negative side pressure? Are absolute pressure transmitters suitable for measuring both positive and negative pressures? For example: Should an absolute pressure transmitter be used on the pipeline at the fan inlet (negative pressure) or on the pipeline at the fan outlet (positive pressure)?
Too low a negative pressure (-80 Kpa) is measured using an absolute pressure gauge, while slightly higher negative pressure (-20 Kpa) is measured with a differential pressure transmitter. Is that correct? Thank you
