Recently, the company needs to purchase a batch of pipe fittings and flanges. Some of the models are as follows: the pipe fittings are of types ASTM A234 Gr.WPB (SSC&HIC), SMLS, BW, SCH40, ASME B16.9; the flanges are of types ASTM A105N, CL300, RF, ASME B16.5, SOUR SERVICE. The questions are as follows: 1. Are the materials of ASTM A234 Gr.WPB (SSC&HIC) and ASTM A234 Gr.WPB the same? Do elbows manufactured strictly in accordance with ASTM A234 Gr.WPB meet the requirements of SSC&HIC tests? 2. Regarding the flange as well, I hope the experts can help me; I’m really confused right now.
