The prevailing ex-factory price of urea in Shandong region remains stable at 1120–1130 yuan per ton (the same unit is used throughout). Discounts of at least 20 yuan are applied when transactions are made. Industrial purchases have increased slightly, while the price for deliveries in Linyi has risen to 1150–1160 yuan. A few manufacturers will carry out maintenance work this month or next month ； The mainstream ex-factory prices in the Hebei region remain stable at 1110–1130 yuan. Due to a slight decline in production rates and the availability of orders to be shipped from ports, the actual ex-factory prices have risen slightly to 1100 yuan,... On the international front, the tender issued by India’s IPL company on August 12 for 120,000 tons of urea to be loaded by September 17 has not yet had a winner determined; the lowest bid prices for the two batches of 60,000 tons each of Iranian urea are $196.60–$196.95 per ton CIF, which represents an increase of about $15 compared to the prices in the tender held on July 15… Overall, positive developments on the international stage have not yet managed to boost China’s urea exports. Domestic demand in the agricultural sector has basically ceased, and although there is some purchase of compound fertilizers, a cautious attitude persists. Therefore, it is expected that urea prices will remain stable or slightly decline in the short term.
