I would like to ask how to flush the coal slurry pipeline segment from the burner manual valve to the gasifier flange when the furnace is shut down. Thank you
For this section, there is no need for flushing water; instead, the stop button is pressed to initiate a high-pressure nitrogen purge. Of course, different furnace designs entail different flushing methods – Texaco uses high-pressure nitrogen
When Texaco stops the operation, the safety interlock protection of the vaporizer is activated; the coal slurry pipelines and oxygen pipelines are automatically closed and purged with nitrogen. Once the coal slurry pipelines have been purged with nitrogen, they are clean, so there is no need to wash them with water.
