The operational requirements for the phosphorus chemistry process in electrophoretic coating are just as important as those of the pretreatment stage and other stages of the electrophoretic system. It is a fact known to everyone involved in electrophoretic coating that over 90% of quality issues that arise during production are related to inadequate pretreatment. And from the ‘report card’ of phosphating as a pretreatment, we can see its importance. So what are the requirements for the phosphating process in daily production? Throughout the entire phosphating process, each phosphating parameter should be monitored at every stage, with the results being recorded; the monitoring frequency is generally once every 2 hours. 2. For the automatic feeding system, it is necessary to adjust the flow rate of the material pump to ensure stability. 3. Monitor the operating status of related equipment, and record it or repair it promptly. 4. Both pressure and temperature must be kept within specified ranges. 5. Observe the conditions before and after phosphating, and identify any factors that may affect quality or costs: A: Inaccurate temperature control or faulty measuring devices. B: Excess sealant, introduced impurity compounds, as well as debris or workpieces that have fallen in. C: Faulty nozzles or lifters, resulting in poor cleaning and coating. D: Metal shavings remain on the workpiece. 6. Clean the equipment in accordance with regulations and remove slag promptly. 7. Inform all maintenance personnel of all repair and maintenance requirements.
