The effluent from the distillation tower contains hydrogen sulfide; since steam stripping is not used, what other methods are available to remove it? Thank you. The entire setup is very small. The client doesn’t want to install a steam stripping and sulfur recovery unit, but hydrogen sulfide needs to be removed. What should be done? Please advise, experts!

We have industrial cases for ammonia removal using gas membrane technology, chlorine removal using gas membrane technology, and bromine extraction using gas membrane technology. Removing hydrogen sulfide using the gas membrane method is much easier; at least the mass transfer coefficient is much higher, which reduces investment costs.
