The hoses of the circulating water concentrated sulfuric acid dosing pump tend to break easily; which type of hose is more durable?
Why not use fixed pipes? What is the purpose of adding sulfuric acid to circulating water? Adjust the pH value?
Yeah, it’s used to adjust pH! For particularly small diaphragm pumps, rubber hoses have always been used – they are easy to install and cost little. We are involved in adding chemicals to circulating water; using stainless steel for such purposes is too expensive. Moreover, there are competitive bids held every year, and if you do a great job with the installation, it’s possible that you won’t be allowed to continue doing this work next year. It’s also not easy to remove such installations
Choosing based on pressure should be no problem.
The pressure is very low; the main issue is that it can’t withstand corrosion and cracks after being used for a while

For concentrated sulfuric acid, ordinary carbon steel pipes are sufficient, but attention should be paid to the corrosion caused by dilute acids.
For concentrated sulfuric acid, both ordinary carbon steel pipes and PP pipes can be used; however, when using carbon steel pipes, care must be taken to prevent the outlet area from being corroded by dilute sulfuric acid
Materials such as PPR and PVC are both suitable; insulation is necessary, and the pipes should be installed in trenches to prevent direct sunlight exposure, allowing them to last for several years.
The outlet pressure of the chemical dosing pump is not high, and its outlet remains open at all times; PPR, PVC, PTFE, and carbon steel pipes can all be used. When using carbon steel pipes, pay attention to corrosion at the outlet section; for plastic pipes, be mindful of aging, and it is best to keep them away from light.
