I would like to know what components are typically present in waste gas – specifically, what percentage do nitrogen oxides and phenols account for?
Different sources of acidic gases have different compositions.
Mainly hydrogen sulfide, ammonia, and carbon dioxide
There are also fuel gases such as carbon monoxide, hydrogen, and methane
There are volatile organic compounds (VOCs), hydrocarbons, organic sulfides such as thiolines and thioethers, phenols, aromatics, and low-concentration inorganic sulfides such as hydrogen sulfide and ammonia

There are volatile organic compounds (VOCs), hydrocarbons, organic sulfides such as thiols and thioethers, phenols, aromatics, low-concentration inorganic sulfides such as hydrogen sulfide and ammonia, biochemical aeration, gases released during anaerobic treatment of wastewater, and gases released during sludge decomposition, etc. These depend mainly on the raw materials, products, and processes associated with each facility.
The latest regulations for nitrogen oxides specify a limit of less than 150 mg/m3; as for the phenol content, the exact value is not known – it depends on the raw materials and the process used in the equipment
