Gentlemen: Can the concentration of urea be measured using a differential pressure densitometer? I consulted several companies online; those in Xi’an and Shandong said they could measure concentration. When I asked about the MH5300 model from Shanghai, they said it couldn’t measure concentration and could only measure density Can a differential pressure densitometer actually measure concentration? :(
To date, I have not heard of any manufacturer that can directly measure urea concentration (perhaps I am just not aware of such ones); generally, the density is measured to indirectly determine the urea concentration

You can ask them what principle they use to measure the concentration, and see if they have any experience in this area. As far as I know, no manufacturers are able to determine it directly; the brand we use in our unit is American-made, and they can only measure density

Hello, the concentration and density are determined by the differential pressure method by calculating P = density * g * H. Density obtained through inverse calculation based on the actually measured pressure and level values. So the accuracy will be relatively poor. The products of Fuji Industrial in Japan feature high measurement accuracy thanks to the calibration curve using the ultrasonic sound speed method. There are many successful use cases in China.
