What causes the low DO at the outlet of the aerobic tank?

Hello, I am part of the AAO treatment system. The DO levels are high at the inlet and in the middle section of the aerobic tank, but why doesn’t the DO level increase at the outlet?
Check whether the aeration intensity is low at the outlet; additionally, if it’s only a short-term issue, it might be due to a low organic load in the influent water.
The possible reasons are excessive circulation rate, short hydraulic retention time, and rapid nitrification at the outlet.
