I worked for 7 years at a relatively small Class A design firm, mainly focusing on petrochemical and chlor-alkali industry design, and now I have switched to working in the environmental protection field. It’s much easier than working in a design institute. Working in a chemical engineering design firm involves high risks and low earnings. I’m exhausted. I truly see it now: if you want to work in a design institute, then go to a large institution. It is recommended to change careers
With the economy in such a poor state these days, it’s hard even for those working in industrial complexes. Even if one stays there, if the industry continues to perform poorly, it’s not possible to stay there for the rest of one’s life

There was nothing I could do about it – I ended up working at an environmental protection company, where the salary was decent, but there was little opportunity for growth in that industry. . It has only been in recent years that many environmental protection companies have sprung up like mushrooms after rain. Supply will soon exceed demand. Environmental protection projects are much smaller compared to chemical engineering design. Low risk, low responsibility.

If I had the chance to change careers, I’d be willing to give it a try, but I’m not really sure what I could do in another field
