We currently have a batch of heavy gasoline with a final boiling point of 250°C, whereas the requirement for gasoline is that its final boiling point be below 205°C. Can this heavy oil be added to gasoline as a blending component? I don’t quite understand this, so I’m asking everyone for help. Thank you!
No, the final boiling point of the blended gasoline is determined by the heaviest components; in other words, even after adding lighter components, the final boiling point remains at 250

Actually, the heavy gasoline we have is what remains after the useful components have been separated out; it mainly consists of C10+, with a small amount of C9 as well. We wanted to use this portion of oil as a component in gasoline blending. But according to what you say, this oil definitely cannot be used for blending, as it contains too heavy components. So this portion of oil can only be used as a diesel component, which results in a significant reduction in efficiency.
