As an assistant boiler operator, what are your main tasks at work?

Responsibilities of the boiler assistant operator: 1. Responsible for feeding coal, removing slag, monitoring the operation of the slag remover, and maintaining cleanliness at the site. 2. Assist the chief operator in performing stoker duties. 3. The ash from the slag remover should be removed promptly; it needs to be cleaned completely before the end of each shift. The fine ash in the convection tube bundles, the fine ash under the grate (which requires cleaning twice per shift if there is a large amount of it), the fine ash in the economizer, and the fine ash in the dust collector should all be cleaned once per shift. The ash in the rear arch of the furnace should be cleaned once per week during the day shift. The fine ash under the grate must not reach the top of the grate; having it on the grate can cause damage to it and affect production. 4. The slag remover is a continuously operating device, and the slag removal operator is responsible for monitoring its operation; intermittent operation is not allowed during normal production. Ensure that the deslagging machine operates under full water conditions. 5. Operate the coal conveyor, crusher, and slag remover correctly; if any abnormal noises, excessively high temperatures, or oil leaks are detected in the equipment, report them to the shift leader promptly. 6. Ensure that the coal in the hopper is sufficient to meet production needs; at the time of shift handover, there should be more than half of the total coal amount remaining in the hopper. 7. Obey leadership and instructions, and ensure safe and civilized production.
