It is only logical that the stock market is declining, resulting in many investors suffering heavy losses. The character for stock in stocks refers to a short, spiked weapon with sharp points placed above the character for month; the character for month represents flesh, while the spiked weapon was an ancient weapon used to pierce an enemy’s flesh and cause them to bleed to death. The character for ‘stock’ signifies misfortune; bloodshed will occur, and those who engage in hand-to-hand combat with spears will surely lose. Shu, pronounced SHU, has the same sound as ‘shu’.
The ‘less’ in ‘stir-fry’ refers to time, meaning it takes a short amount of time, not that less heat is used.
