Could everyone help me figure out what kind of connector 1’P-1/2’T is? What do P and T mean?
Are you in the instrumentation field or the piping field? If it’s related to piping technology, I’d venture to guess that, based on my experience, the type of piping end used is P=PE=Plain End, That is, a plain end designed for plug welding or butt welding of thin-walled pipes ； T=Threaded, threaded connection; the specific thread type should be specified, NPT, BSPP, BSPT? Is there a missing dot in this 1'P-1/2'T? It should be 1\" P-1/2\" T, which is a reduced-diameter adapter/Swage Nipple that converts a 1\" straight thread to a 1/2\" threaded connection.
