The 35CrMoA and 25CrMo you mentioned: 35 has better temperature resistance than 25. Generally, 35 is chosen for the bolts while 25 is used for the nuts
I’m referring to 35 carbon steel bolts and 25 carbon steel nuts. Sometimes, in an effort to save money, people use 35#/25# as a substitute for 35CrMoA/30CrMoA. I want to know if there are any applications for 35#/25#
Materials for high-pressure bolts and nuts at moderate temperatures.
Both 35# and 25# are alloy steels; how can you still call them carbon steels?
