Calculation of tower packing support?

How to calculate the structural dimensions of the packing support ring? The current diameter of the tower is 2000, and the weight of the packing is approximately 8 tons. There are standards available only for calculating the dimensions of the grid bars; moreover, the standards state that support beams are necessary for large diameters. Under what circumstances are support beams required? Thank you?

1. I’m curious about what filler was used? What is the filler density? 2. This filler of yours is so heavy; I don’t dare say anything casually. Generally, we only consider adding crossbeams when the length is 2.5m, or even over 3m. This is experience; we didn’t do any calculations either.
What standard does the original poster refer to? It would be safer to use ANSYS or STAAD to calculate the support structure.
