The allowable tensile strain for reusing bolts after long-term use

After long-term use, bolts experience a certain amount of elongation. Is there any standard specifying the maximum level of elongation beyond which a bolt can no longer be used?
I’ve never seen such a rule. Is this related to the material? Theoretically, when the bolt is stretched, it undergoes elastic deformation; if pulled further, it will break.
For used bolts, one can only know their standard length and the length after stretching; it is not possible to determine whether elastic or plastic deformation has occurred
So, it’s still necessary to check the materials and look at things like elongation.
