Issues related to process exhaust gases

There is a stream of process waste gas containing nitrogen, hydrogen, ether, ethyl ester, and a small amount of ethanol, which wishes to be sent to the gas pipeline network for combustion in order to recover thermal energy. Are there any standards that can be referred to? For example, what kinds of gases can be released into the gas pipeline network, and which ones cannot?
Nitrogen is an inert gas; as long as there is no oxygen present and its concentration remains above the explosion limit of the mixture, it is safe. In general, increasing the proportion of inert gases allows combustion to occur while preventing explosions
Are there any standards I can refer to for this?
