Function of the air preheater bypass in the spent acid pyrolysis unit
What process do you use? Which air preheater?

Bypassing serves to regulate the temperature, allowing the operating temperature to be controlled
Isn’t it the case that the higher the air temperature entering the pyrolyzer, the more fuel can be saved? If a bypass is used, won’t the preheated air temperature be lower?
I have no experience with waste acid pyrolysis. It can be assumed that after the waste acid is decomposed, the flue gas contains a large amount of moisture; after heat exchange in the air preheater, if the temperature of the flue gas is below the dew point temperature, it will cause corrosion to the equipment. The bypass valve is used to regulate the flue gas temperature.
It is mainly used to regulate temperature. As mentioned above, this is to prevent dew point corrosion on the furnace gas side. Especially for the cold air preheater, since the temperature of the cold air is low, this preheater generally operates in a co-current manner.
It should be used to regulate temperature; the preheated air cannot be raised indefinitely either – there needs to be a reasonable temperature.
Adjust the temperature of the pyrolysis furnace as it heats up, in order to prevent a large temperature difference between the front and rear parts of the furnace
