What is an appropriate pressure control for the fixed-bed gasoline desulfurization unit? What are the disadvantages of too low pressure?
Our outlet pressure is 1.3 kg/cm2, for a self-pressuring device, while the inlet pressure is a little over 3.0 kg/cm2. I’ve seen another factory use a pump to transfer the liquid outward, with the pressure in the gasoline tank in front of the pump being only 0.5 kg/cm2. It follows that there is no need to deliberately increase the pressure in the gasoline reactor.
