The book states that \"for the outlet pipes of safety valves that discharge hydrocarbon gases, steam or nitrogen for fire suppression should be provided, and this should be controlled from the ground or floor level.\" The recombined gas should be connected to the flare pipeline. ”What does this operating condition refer to? What is the meaning then?
Based on this description, it seems that the safety valve outlet of this light component is directed towards the atmosphere.
It is emitted into the air. Can hydrocarbons be discharged directly without going through a flare? I don’t quite understand!
Perhaps it’s because hydrocarbons have a relatively low density; it seems that there are many flammable, non-toxic gases that can be released directly
