Question: How can powder particles around 1 micron in size be obtained through solid-liquid separation in industrial settings? The particle size of this powder is relatively uniform, around 1 micron. Does anyone know of any good separation equipment that is suitable for use in industrial production? Filtering solids around 1 micron is not very difficult in industry. For example, micro-porous membrane filtration uses multi-layer plates together with filter membranes; the filtration precision can reach around 0.2 microns. There are many manufacturers offering this service, with a concentration in the Haining area of Zhejiang. The equipment involved doesn’t require much technical complexity – it’s sufficient to choose the right membrane. Additionally, ceramic membrane filtration can also be considered; well-known examples include Gore in the United States.
