Questions about pressure swing adsorption

Ladies and gentlemen, in pressure swing adsorption, the more uniform cycles there are, the higher the hydrogen recovery rate, as the pressure is low at the beginning of each cycle, resulting in less consumption of hydrogen during regeneration. What I don’t understand is: no matter how many times pressure equalization is performed, in the same device, could the pressure at the beginning of the forward flow be different? Pressure equalization allows high-pressure hydrogen to be fully utilized before pressure release; therefore, the more times it is used, the higher the yield.
