SH/T3411-1999 specifies eight nominal pressure grades for filters used in petrochemical pumps: 1.0, 1.6, 2.0, 2.5, 4.0, 5.0, 6.3, and 10.0. The corresponding interface end faces also come in these same eight pressure grades, and standards are established for the flanges on these interface end faces. However, the standard does not specify any requirements regarding the flanges used for removing the filter elements. Those who are familiar with filters could please advise on how such flanges should be selected Can the thickness of the filter screen removal flange be calculated using the provisions for flat covers in the GB150 standard?
Regarding the term description for SHT3411, \"Interface end face: the mating surface where the filter is connected to adjacent pipes or fittings\", can it be understood that the filter removal flange also falls under the category of interface end face flanges?
It can only be understood in this way: since there are no specifications for the flange used to remove the filter element, while there are specifications for the others, the pressure rating of the entire filter should not be reduced just because the grade of the flange used for removing the filter element is lower.
