Frequency modulation of the rich gas compressor in delayed coking

The frequency converter of the rich gas compressor in our factory switched to automatic control; then the frequency kept decreasing, which led to surge and shutdown of the compressor. After it stopped, it vibrated heavily during the next start-up. After taking it apart for inspection, we found no problems with the bearing shells, but there were some issues with the rotor and bearings. I would like to ask: what is causing this?
Does anyone know what’s going on? Our press has automatically switched to the “automatic” frequency control mode, whereas usually we adjust the frequency manually.
When it switches to “automatic,” will the frequency automatically decrease?
May I ask for the model of your compressor and the model and power of the motor used with it? Is it a problem related to interlocks? Switching of such programs is often due to interlock issues. Has the electrical and instrumentation department checked it? In our factory, turbines are used to drive the compressors, and the control system is not of type 505 but rather 3C; this kind of problem has not occurred before~

This seems to be an issue with the operating system; maybe someone made a mistake.
