Hello, everyone. I have a question for you: how should a temperature transmitter with a temperature probe be installed in a 50MPa pipeline? We’re facing a challenge in terms of installing a temperature probe inside such a pipeline in order to measure the temperature inside it, and we’re considering using a threaded connection for this purpose. Could anyone among you give us some advice? 1. What type of thread should be used for the external thread of this temperature sensor? 2 On this pipe, a short section of pipe with internal threads must first be welded on in order to install the temperature sensor; it is necessary to determine what thickness the wall of this small pipe section should have. 3 How long should the threads on this small pipe section be in order to be able to withstand a pressure of 50 MPa? If anyone knows or has been in contact with them, please give some advice. Thank you in advance!
How can this pressure be handled with threaded connections? Unless it’s welded in place, flanges should be used.

All our pipelines with a pressure of over ten megapascals use welded temperature detection points
If a thermometer sleeve is used, there is no sealing issue since the thermometer and the sleeve are connected by threads. If the thermometer is inserted directly into the pipe, flanges must be used due to such high pressure.
