The company has installed a new 2-ton gas boiler, which has been in operation for a month. When waste water is discharged, the boiler water becomes cloudy and contains yellowish substances that resemble mud. I would appreciate it if experts could help analyze what might be causing this issue
It’s rust; was the furnace boiled before operation? What is the quality of the boiler water? pH?
The furnace was boiled before operation; the pH of the furnace water remained around 8-10. The pH of the feed water was a bit lower, hovering around 6
Yellow usually indicates rust; it is possible to raise the pH of the furnace water further
It might be due to issues with the quality of the water supplied; iron oxide brought in through the water supply pipes
It hasn’t been tested whether the iron sulfide content in the water supplied after reverse osmosis is high
The pH of the water after reverse osmosis is a bit low; other test values aren’t very high
Are regular discharge and continuous discharge carried out as usual?
