How is the temperature of the jacket in a reaction vessel typically measured? Since the jacket is so narrow, how is the insertion depth addressed when using a thermal resistor; or is an armored type used to insert it?
What we produce here are adjustable clamps, as the lengths of the clamps for old and new reactors vary; these adjustable clamps can be adjusted and come with protective covers
It’s best to include an image; many people might not understand what a jacket is. No image, no truth: lol
Why is it necessary to measure the temperature of the jacket? Isn’t it enough to measure the temperature inside the reactor? Even if temperature control is necessary, the temperature of the pipes before entering the reactor should also be measured.
I haven’t seen it done for measuring the jacket temperature; generally, it’s the temperature of the reactor that is measured. If one wants to measure the jacket temperature, could a temperature sensing point be installed in the jacket circuit?
