Questions regarding the selection of pressure switches

As the title suggests, I would like to ask fellow sailors: there is a pressure switch in the process package between the safety valve and the burst disc. I’m not sure how important this component is – is it necessary to use a pressure switch that is imported?
The safety valve is inspected once a year; I’ve never seen a pressure switch installed next to it. I’ve also never seen rupture discs; if they did exist, wouldn’t the vessel explode then? If they are present, it’s only for recording purposes.

The poster asked, “Is it necessary to use an imported pressure switch?” I think a domestic pressure switch will suffice; there’s no need to spend extra money.
