In the field of liquefied natural gas, the removal of heavy hydrocarbons is very important. Which adsorbents used in adsorption methods have proven to be effective for removing heavy hydrocarbons? Activated carbon is widely used for adsorption. Pressure swing adsorption relies mainly on different molecules; the larger the molecular weight, the greater the adsorption force. What the original poster said is that it should be a relatively mature technology
