Is it better to use a hydraulic coupler in coal-water slurry gasification rod mills, as part of the transmission system, to replace the existing pneumatic clutch?

What power rating is required for the use of hydraulic couplings in water-coal slurry gasification rod mills? It can be used as a substitute.
Personally, I believe a hydraulic coupling should be used instead of a pneumatic clutch, as clutch starters are prone to damage, have a high maintenance rate, and experience frequent failures.
On the contrary, hydraulic coupling devices are bulky and large in size; starting the mill requires transmitting a force of 70 tons at once. Is there enough power for that? With pneumatic couplings, on the other hand, the transition from a soft connection to a hard connection can be achieved quickly when there is sufficient air pressure. And the damage is minimal.
Personally, I disagree; a hydraulic clutch requires the use of a dipstick to adjust the oil level and an oil pump to supply oil, which makes it more complicated compared to a pneumatic clutch. Although the rotary seal valve in a pneumatic clutch is prone to leakage, it is simpler and more convenient to use
