If the C1 and C2 components in the feed to the atmospheric and vacuum distillation unit have been removed prior to entering the unit, what impact would such a feed have on the operation of the unit? How should it be adjusted?

If only c1 and c2 are missing, then the amount of gas at the initial distillation tower decreases, causing the pressure at the top of the tower to drop. If their amounts in crude oil are not high, the impact will also be minimal. With the appropriate adjustments, the quality of gasoline should be fine.
