I have never performed weighing and measurement for a mixing tank; I would like to ask fellow users for advice. There are several mixing kettles available that require weight measurement. What are the common weighing methods (instruments) used for weighing in a mixing tank? How to install it? Basic requirements for installation.

It’s been 15 years now; I guess the investment in the project has been recovered by now:D
1. There are several installation methods: pull-type load cells (used when the tank is lifted; usually three to four are used), and compression-type load cell modules, which can be installed on the legs of the tank or on its lateral supports (three modules are recommended as they make it easier to level the tank)； 2. Communication methods for instruments: The commonly used ones are analog signals and serial ports (mainly Modbus RTU); these two options offer good cost-performance ratios.
