Issue with partition slot dimensions

When I first looked at the standards, it said that for slot width a2 in 151, the recommended value is 8–14 mm. However, I noticed that according to the standards for gaskets used in heat exchangers, the width of the gasket B should be 10 mm. If I design it to be 8 mm, then the gasket won’t fit in, right? It seems that since the gasket width is 10 mm, why isn’t the slot width set at 12 mm instead?
I think the same way; especially with stainless steel equipment, the minimum thickness of the partitions is only 6 mm, and the width of the partition slots is only 8 mm – there’s simply no space for gaskets
With such a wide range given, the selection of the width of the partition and the gasket width must always be appropriate to the width of the partition groove. Or adapt in reverse.
