At the natural gas facility, the level gauge in the separator is currently not in use; it needs to be removed, and a regular blind plate should be used to cover the flange where the level gauge was connected, thereby preventing air leaks. However, blind plates tend to rust easily. Let’s discuss how to ensure corrosion protection for both the blind plate and the fastening bolts in this situation in a simple and effective manner

It’s sufficient to simply apply paint directly; if you find it troublesome or don’t want to go through the process of sandblasting to remove rust, you can use Anrunkang RJ300 rust conversion agent, which combines rust removal and rust prevention functions and offers excellent results. It is currently used in many petrochemical companies. ******
Why not use S30408 as the material for blind flanges and fasteners?
