After inquiring, Shanxi Hainuo Technology is capable of producing industrial-grade glass microspheres, but it is not able to manufacture ones that are 4-5 mm in size and hollow as well. According to their boss, there is no company in China that can do this directly at the moment; even 3M doesn’t have such capabilities. My colleagues suggested that I look for solutions at research institutes or laboratories in related fields, which only made me more confused. These glass microspheres are to be added to the concrete.
3M is a leading company in the production of hollow glass microspheres; if even they are unable to do it, then other companies certainly won’t be able to either.
