SIS is a safety instrument system, in which the instruments are installed in accordance with the requirements specified in the user manual.

Safety systems are necessary, without a doubt. The general process for establishing or adding new processes is as follows: 1. The design institute determines the logical outline of the system’s scope and functional requirements, and uses this to prepare the technical specifications for the bidding process ; 2. Identify potential suppliers, and determine the final hardware provider through bidding processes ; 3. Submit the logic diagram represented by the SAMA diagram along with other necessary documents to the hardware supplier for development ; 4. Complete the installation under the guidance of the hardware supplier.
We are in the oil and gas storage and transportation business. It actually depends on the specific situation: some oil fields use DCS exclusively, while others combine DCS with SIS systems. It depends on which design firm is responsible for the design, as there seems to be no fixed rule. Moreover, the complexity of SIS systems also varies. In the design of many systems, the SIS system is well-developed, but once it is put into use, many functions are forced to be disabled.
The design institute has not carried out any designs before; it has only worked on some technical improvement projects. Please send me a picture of the SIS.
