What kind of scale? Whether it is biofilm, iron scale, or white scale, considering increasing the flow rate and adjusting the pH value might help. The effluent contains H2S, which is corrosive; if there is sediment, try to remove it and see how that affects the situation. Additionally, check the levels of particulate sludge and floculent sludge in the effluent. The above is for reference only.
