After looking at some of the bizarre designs suggested by netizens, most of them had minor design flaws, such as unreasonable space layout and inadequate consideration for the operation of backup equipment. These issues have no significant impact on the operation of the main unit; they merely make operation troublesome and unsightly. The strangest design I’ve ever seen is a waste liquid treatment system at a polysilicon plant. It was only during debugging that it became clear the process was simply not feasible; it just looked good. It had to stay there as a decoration – something worth hundreds of millions! I think that’s truly a bizarre design. Unfortunately, there are no photos.
We also have a set of equipment for which hundreds of millions were invested; it was in operation for a few months before shutting down due to issues with the materials used for the equipment and pipelines. It’s unclear when these problems will be resolved

There have been many modifications due to process-related issues. Especially in cases of plant expansion or first-time production, numerous problems arise. I once saw a project where the original process design was for 5,000 tons, but the client wanted to expand production to 10,000 tons. The initial designs involved simple expansions to increase capacity; however, operations did not proceed smoothly, and many equipment and pipelines had to be modified. It took over a year to resolve these issues, but success was ultimately achieved. --------------------------------------------- This forum activity is mainly aimed at addressing those problems that can be improved or made more efficient
Hey, OP, suggest to the management to set up a themed barbecue or karaoke area there – it could also be a way to earn some extra money~

No matter how well-designed something is, there will always be shortcomings, and it can only be improved continuously

I think people can identify any unreasonable aspects in the factory’s production processes or in the PID settings; these are the key elements in the operation of a factory. There are indeed some issues with the arrangement of equipment and piping, and often these aspects need to be considered as a whole. In some cases, it’s impossible to eliminate certain inconsistencies, as designs aren’t perfect. In future versions, we should focus on identifying the main problems, or start a separate topic to discuss the issues related to piping arrangements
It should be like that, but it’s not as lively and engaging as it is now.
In a project I was involved in, awards were given in Zhongxx, but things changed later on; it involved a factory and led to changes in the layout of a certain industry across two prefecture-level cities.
Then the relevant individuals should be punished!
